Celebrate the 149th Annual Arbor Day by joining us in the first ever Arbor Day Virtual Fun Run.
Typically the Arbor Day 5K & 10K would take you through some beautiful scenery in Nebraska City and Arbor Lodge state park. But, new this year, we are encouragening social distancing and extending the invitation for you to join the Arbor Day Fun Run by running your own route. Share your run experience with us by posting on the Nebraska City Tourism & Commerce Facebook page.
Each participant will recieve their official Arbor Day Fun Run T-Shirt in the mail the week of the run. The Virtual Run is set for April 25th. We ask that each participant post a run photo on social media using the hashtag #ArborDay2020 and also hashtaging your distance #5K or #10K. Each participant that completes the run will recieve their finisher's medal!
After the race we encourage you to bring Arbor Day to your home by planting a tree. I mean, that is what arbor day is really all about.
All proceeds will be given to the Nebraska City Tourism Commission and there will be no refunds.
